Fight disinformation online and support the causes that matter to you.
1. Download the browser extension.
2. Specify the Causes you want to support and when you want to get notifications.
3. Get notified about opportunities to support your Causes on social media. Taking actions takes 10 seconds or less.
4. Let other members know about Cause-related content you see online that deserves to be amplified (or responded to) with a single click of the Share to Cause Amp button.
Bad actors and bot networks on social media are pulling society toward the extremes. Most people don't want to post and comment on social media, and others don't have the time. Cause Amp levels the playing field by making it easier to advocate for causes you care about.
You can make a huge difference, support the truth, and the Causes you care about with just a few seconds a day by taking action with Cause Amp.
How It Works
The extension adds a 'Share to Cause Amp' button to social media sites, allowing you to notify other members of your causes.
The extension also makes it easy to take actions. You select the causes you care about, adjust your notification settings, and then get notifications about high-leverage actions.
Actions could be liking a post or comment that is supportive of one of your causes, responding to disinformation with a debunking comment, and any other action that is possible on a given social network. Comments and posts are pre-written by volunteers to make taking actions incredibly fast, but you're always encouraged to edit and improve proposed comments if you've got the time.
If you get an action alert that isn't in keeping with the text or the spirit of a Cause you support, hit the Report button next to the action. Volunteers who consistently create actions that aren't in line with a Cause will be removed.

Note: For now, in this early beta stage, only Reddit is supported, but functionality on more social media platforms will be coming very soon.
Your Privacy
We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the network. The only things we collect are the posts you Share to Cause Amp, the actions you take through the extension, and your social media username. We never see your passwords, and we don't track your general browsing. Read the full Privacy Policy for details.
